About the store
Differentiation equals success for all. Not every student learns at the same rate and has the same abilities. Learning can occur at many different levels, and it is vital that all students grow as critical thinkers, problem solvers, and learners. I offer different levels of tasks and assessments to ensure success for all students and make myself available to help in any way possible. I will continue to research and create new and better ways of allowing my students to reach their full potential and am always seeking innovative ways to help students succeed in my classroom. Not only do I want them to be successful, but I want them to enjoy learning along the way. I model the importance of education by constantly furthering my education as well. I am proud to have earned a marketing degree, an early childhood education degree, a middle grades education degree, a master’s degree in early childhood education, a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction, and my gifted endorsement.

Rational Rigor Task Cards

This is a set of 40 task cards covering 7th grade common core math concepts involving operations with rational numbers. In the set, there are computation problems, conceptual problems, and problem solving problems. My students love this alternative way of practicing and discussing math. It leads to some very rich discussions! If you bought my Rational Rigor Board Game, don't buy this because it has a lot of the same questions.

Fraction Operations Sums and Differences

This is a fun way to challenge students in using their fraction number sense. This activity will show you who truly understands fraction operations. Use this as a differentiated lesson or at math stations or centers. This is a great collaborative activity as well.

I taught in elementary and middle schools for 30 years. The last seven years I was instructional lead teacher.
