Texas TEK 4.10A This is a 16 slide PPT that goes over what adaptation is, gives examples with different animals, talks about different bird beaks, the beak usage (with background info for teachers in the NOTE section), and gives examples of plant adaptation in different climates. Teacher Appreciation Add a Starbucks gift card inside a Starbucks Cup Sleeve. I taped it on the sheet. Make sure you print it on cardstock paper to make it more durable. (I printed mine on green cardstock paper).

Use the slides to help you go over this STEM activity. Slide two is the book "How to Trap a Leprechaun" book being read, thanks to READINGJOY on youtube. Then it goes over a little about the myth and requirements. Use the design sheet to help each student, pair, or group to create their plan before they build.

This is a fun rounding PPT. It is called "Around About Camp." Little John is hiking up a hill. It explains how to round using John's hiking trip.

I created this years ago but redid some of it this year. I have the students evaluate themselves before conferences. Then I let the parents see how the student sees how they are doing. You should be able to edit this to fit your needs.
