About the store
I have been teaching first grade for three years! I also taught preschool and was a math interventionist. While these have been valuable experiences, I am always striving to learn more and enjoy professional development activities, especially about differentiation in the classroom.

These can be sent to your new students (or old!) at the end of the summer before school begins. Use them for a simple greeting, to introduce yourself, or to remind students of Meet the Teacher night. There is room for an address and stamp, or save money by sending them with the back to school packets your school sends out! Thank you for purchasing! It is free, but please take the time to review it! Thanks!

About the store

Experience

I have been teaching first grade for three years! I also taught preschool and was a math interventionist. While these have been valuable experiences, I am always striving to learn more and enjoy professional development activities, especially about differentiation in the classroom.

Teaching style

I am very organized, but also like to keep it simple and straightforward whenever possible. My students move around a lot, have fun, and play lots of games! I'll admit, I'm not the craftiest or most creative person in the world, but I do know how to have fun while keeping my students engaged!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Ummmmm.....

My own education history

I attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2008. I'll admit it...I DONT have a masters degree...yet. I'll be going back to school soon though...blah!

Additional biographical information

Let's see...I'm the only teacher in my family, I have a twin sister, I'm married, and have my first baby on the way (due September..Great timing huh?) And the only reason I'm filling this out is because it was bothering me that my profile said it was 50% complete...if that gives you any insight into me!
