Thanksgiving-Themed "Operations with Rational Numbers" Riddles
These three worksheets are great for extra practice with adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers (integers, fractions, mixed numbers...no decimals). The Thanksgiving theme is appropriate for November, but these worksheets can be enjoyed all autumn long. Use during class, assign as homework, or leave for a substitute.
Students simplify expressions, then match the given letter with their answer to uncover the answer to riddles such this one:

Teaching style
For so many students, math can be scary and hard. This is sometimes true for teachers, too, especially when we're staring at 30 kids who don't want to do math that day! I hope that my products will make math easy for teachers by providing fresh ideas and ready-made lessons or activities. I hope I can help you make math easy for students by engaging them in fun and unique activities that help them push past their fear of math and gain confidence in their growing skill sets!
