Place Value: I'm Thinking of a Number - Set 1 This is the first of six different sets of "I'm Thinking of a Number Cards" to use when teaching place value. This set uses only 2 digit numbers. I use the cards in a small group at first and have them build the number on a place value mat with base ten blocks. We discuss how they determined the number from the clues.
