1-20 Lily Pad Math Game Board
This math game board has the numbers 1-20 on the lily pads. Having the numbers along the path helps children see the numbers get larger as they go further along the path. You can use this game board in a math center or print it on larger banner paper to have a giant game board! You can use regular dice or try creating your own dice with +0, +1, +2 to help develop young learner's number sense. I am a former middle school teacher, but now do trainings for teachers. For the past 4 years my focus has been on how children learn mathematics from PreK-3rd grade.
Teaching style
I used to be a traditional teacher, but have transformed to more of a constructivist. I do believe students need to be able to perform procedures and know their facts, but they need the understanding behind it first.
Additional biographical information
I have three young kiddos (only 3 1/2 years between my oldest and youngest) and a wonderful husband, whom I have known since Kindergarten!
