About the store

Experience

This is my 3rd year teaching at Terrebonne High School in Houma, Louisiana. In that time I have taught Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Math Essentials, and Advanced Math: Functions and Stats. I have a degree in Math Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership: Technology.

Teaching style

I have a traditional teaching style. However, I am always up for group projects and adding technology into the mix. I love when my students want to come to the board and participate and I enjoy watching those light bulbs go off.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have no Honors or Awards to speak of. I am an average, ordinary, everyday teacher that just wants to become a better educator.

My own education history

I graduated from Ellender Memorial High School in Houma, LA. Go Patriots!!! I decided to go to Nicholls State University and pursue a career in 6-12 Math Education and then I continued my education and received a Master in Educational Leadership: Technology.

Additional biographical information

I have two younger brothers that drive me crazy and parents that still hover over me and ask me about my day. I have been teaching for 3 years now and I'm ready for the next challenge in my life.
