How I use these: I copied on card stock., laminated and cut, and hung them vertically, next to my calendar. Every day, we add one dot (dry erase), to count the number of days we have been in school. So many math skills can be taught and reinforced with this. It is a great tool, especially for your visual learners, building foundational math skills. (Goes up to 210).
Zero prep- Just copy and add cover up chips and dice, to make a highly engaging, 2-partner, math game. How to play: Roll 2 dice and add to find the sum. Then, cover the number you would add, to make 12.
Great way to reinforce counting and number sense to 120. Partner math game- SUPER EASY PREP: Print and laminate, add 1 game pawn/student and 1 die (1-6)- and you're all set! Watch out though- if you roll a 6, you have a math task to do (could be add or subtract 1; add or subtract 5; add or subtract 10). But if you LAND on a number with 6 groups of ones, you get a BONUS TURN! First player to make it to 120, "wins!" Have an odd number of students? No problem! This game can be played with 3 play
