About the store
With over 16 years in education, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting diverse learners as a passionate special educator. I’ve taught across a wide range of grade levels—from Kindergarten and Grade 1 to middle school (Grades 6 and 7) and high school—always with a focus on creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments.
For 13 of those years, I taught internationally, gaining a deep appreciation for different cultures and educational systems while adapting best practices for students around the globe. My experience also includes serving as a Transition Linkage Coordinator, where I helped high school students prepare for life beyond school, including job readiness and career planning. Additionally, I worked in higher education as an academic advisor for college student-athletes, supporting their academic success and personal development.

Teaching style
My teaching style is centered on building strong relationships with students and using those connections to make learning meaningful. I believe that when students feel seen and understood, they’re more engaged and willing to take risks. That’s why I’ve always made it a priority to get to know my students deeply and use their interests as a springboard for instruction.
I design materials that are not only engaging but also relevant to real life—whether that means practicing budgeting skills with real-world scenarios or using current trends to spark curiosity. My goal is to create resources that are practical, accessible, and designed to hold students’ attention while preparing them for life beyond the classroom.
My own education history
I hold a B.A. in Sociology and International Studies, as well as two master’s degrees—one in Sport Administration and another in Secondary Special Education. My academic journey has fueled my passion for understanding people, systems, and how to best support diverse learners.
I’m certified to teach in New Jersey, California, and Michigan.
