Special Education Teacher, specializing in small group intervention. I've created curriculum for my students with learning disabilities and have used them in tier II interventions as part of a Response to Intervention (RTI) process and small group instruction with great results. I've taught on a comprehensive campus as a primary resource teacher, intermediate resource teacher, co teacher, primary SLD teacher, Preschool co-teacher as well as a middle school autism teacher at a self contained school. I've had to created curriculum in order to meet the high repetition my students require with model incorporated increasing intensities of instruction offering specific, research-based interventions matched to my student needs. My curriculum and lesson plans offer a specified set of activities designed to put into practice as interventions for your special needs, RTI tier II groups, small group instruction and preschool classrooms.

This is the actual lesson plan I used in my preschool classrooms for the 2015-16 school year. This lesson plan brought my averages to: 22 upper and lowercase letters identified, 10 sight-words, 100% identified the numbers 0-10, 9/10 colors, 7/8 shapes and the average student counted to 36. Number Recognition and Handwriting Skills
This number handwriting practice workbook allows children to practice their handwriting and fine motor skills while learning the numbers 1-20 with fun sheets that include coloring the correct amount of objects, finding the number, tracing the number and tracing the spelling of the number. It includes 40 pages of number recognition and writing fun.
