Here is a great first day packet to help keep your students busy, while you get everyone settled!

This is a the first lesson in a series of lesson to help children develop place value skills.

In this unit we are working on making this more abstract. We are slowly pushing the students from a visual model to a more thinking model.

This is a more difficult and ramped up version of Counting 1s and 10s.

A simple sheet to practice making a rectangle given a certain perimeter.

This packet is designed to help students use a 100 base ten block for calculations and thinking. This packet should be used with support, trying to draw out jumping strategies and helping students build a visual for these calculations. This is akin to bead rack as well. I also put a blank sheet in so you can make your own problems or let the students use it as a manipulative.

We are using base 10 blocks to work on place value and addition understandings.
