I made this worksheet for my class in second grade. I have seen clue word worksheets with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, but my kids didn't need that. These are the clue words that I have seen used in math word problems. This is great for group discussion and whole class teaching.

To introduce coin counting to my kids, I read them the book, "Curious George Saves His Pennies." The story mentions specific coin amounts. I decided to make a companion worksheet set to connect to the story. Any cross-curricular connections are helpful. If you don't have the book, you can find it read on YouTube by multiple people.
