A 4 day Hands Only CPR/AED unit that includes key concepts, how to perform Hands Only CPR, how to use an AED, engaging activities, and end of unit assessment that is easy to learn for students. Within this 4 day unit, students will learn what Hands Only CPR is, when and why it is necessary, the difference between cardiac arrest and a heart attack, how to properly use an AED and the steps to take in a medical emergency. A quick 30-40 minute slide show on sun safety. This information talks about the different rays of the sun and the harmful effects they can cause including rays in the winter. It ends with a dice game to add some fun into a serious topic.

This gameboard can be used as a project, class activity or used for a substitute.  The students will go through the board, answering the questions based on a particular drug.  Gameboard piece #2 is a wheel that they will spin to see what drug they will be doing their work on.  Once you make a copy of this, you can change the drugs on the wheel.  Each gameboard piece is either asking them a question directly related to the drug or a question based on their own feelings/needs/opinions.
