About the store
I have been at the same school throughout my 16 years of teaching. It is like a second home to me. The teachers, students, families and community members all work together to make the school a place of learning and love. I have a Masters degree in Elementary education. I am a regular education teacher but have integrated special needs students full time into my classroom for over 10 years.

AR Quarterly Tracking Sheet

If you use Accelerated Reader in your school, this form will help you track the progress your students. At the end of each week, you can post their current number of points. Post this on your wall and this will keep the kids on target to reach their goals.

Morning and Dismissal Checklist

To aid in a smooth morning and afternoon routine, I created a checklist for students. The morning list has 7 steps that are useful in my classroom. The afternoon checklist has 6 steps listed. (This is a word document so you should be able to add or delete as necessary). You can display the checklist by making them into posters, by printing them out on paper with cute border, or you can even distribute to students individually to assist them in following your specific classroom routines.

Experience

I have been at the same school throughout my 16 years of teaching. It is like a second home to me. The teachers, students, families and community members all work together to make the school a place of learning and love. I have a Masters degree in Elementary education. I am a regular education teacher but have integrated special needs students full time into my classroom for over 10 years.

Teaching style

I believe in the hands on approach. I love project based learning. I also believe character education is an important part of our school day.

Awards & shining teacher moments

A colleague and I entered and won a contest where we were awarded money for our school. With that money, our school was able to buy itouch carts.

My own education history

Bachelor's degree in psychology. Master's degree in elementary education
