Logs and Ladders resembles the game Shoots and Ladders. In this game, we are reviewing the properties of logarithms, including how to expand logarithms and how to condense logarithms. Properties include the product rule, quotient rule, and power rule. Students play one-on-one against each other for this game. Players take turns rolling the die and moving their chip to the corresponding number of spaces. The space the player lands on designates which type of card the students draw. The student d
Students will create large triangles on the floor using painter's tape. They will be able to discover the Law of Sines using accurate measurement and the Lab Guide provided. It's a super fun way to discover this awesome law in math!
This game is just like the Monopoly. However, the game board is a unit circle with each space being a different angle measure around the circle. Students will roll a die which has different angle measures on it. They must go at a positive angle around the unit circle according to what they rolled. The player with the most money at the end wins! There are also bonus cards about the 90 degree place on the unit circle and the 270 degree place.
