This foldable was created to be used as a student resource to remember the difference between energy, thermal energy, heat, and temperature. It was meant to be a quick note-taking activity (I used it as a bell-ringer), so pictures are provided. Use whatever definitions you prefer for each term.
I use these doodle notes when first introducing the concept of living vs. nonliving on a cellular level to my middle schoolers. It is a great visual reference for students when they are new to many of these academic vocabulary words.
