About the store
I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, grade two and grade five. I have taught art to kindergarten - grade nine. I also had the opportunity to be a substitute teacher for kindergarten - grade 12. I am currently at home with my children but look forward to getting back into the classroom when they are all in school.

Experience

I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, grade two and grade five. I have taught art to kindergarten - grade nine. I also had the opportunity to be a substitute teacher for kindergarten - grade 12. I am currently at home with my children but look forward to getting back into the classroom when they are all in school.

Teaching style

I love learning and sharing knowledge with others. I have a strong commitment to those that I teach and do all that I can to help each student. I strive to create a classroom that is filled with respect, acceptance, curiosity and discovery. I am passionate about art and love sharing my love of art with others. I believe that a teacher can use art to help students experience feelings of greater success.

My own education history

I completed a combined degree with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education at the University of Lethbridge.

Additional biographical information

I am a mom to two handsome sons and one beautiful daughter. I love spending time with them and my husband in the mountains where we live. I enjoy many forms of art such as painting, sculpting, printmaking, making jewelry and designing on the computer. I Iove going on walks, working out, doing crafts with my children and spending time with family.
