Introduction to Probability and Likelihood
Short Skittles experiment to reinforce percent proportions and introduce likelihood and probability. I usually count out 25 skittles per group to make the percent proportions easy so the students can focus on probabilities. Before students try the practice, I lead a class discussion on likelihoods and relate it back to the numbers in their tables.
