This unit plan was written for 9th-12th grade students to improve writing skills of students at any level. The unit comes complete with in-depth unit plans, handouts, PowerPoints, activities, and a final project. Rubrics and answer sheets are also included. Great for an introduction to a writing unit, this ten day unit can be used as a full two week unit or can be split into occasional brush-up lessons.

I use this as an activity with my mythology class. Students either choose or are assigned a Greek god/goddess and fill out the dating profile based on his/her characteristics. This is a fun and relevant activity that my students always seem to enjoy!

Designed to be relevant and aesthetically pleasing, this handout could be used as a pretest, worksheet, or quiz. I have used this in my class with several different topics. These examples have emphasis on subject- verb agreement. Students enjoy responding to questions in this format.
