Here is a task where students need to use what they know about Pythagorean Theorem and its converse to solve some real world problems. Use in a small group, partners, as a learning task, lots of options to get your students thinking outside of the worksheet!

This is a great assessment to see how much your students already know about multiplication. The test is set up so that they are not scared or intimidated by the questions. It starts off as simple as drawing pictures to match a problem.

Students will collect data from their classmates and create a venn diagram, fill out a table, answer frequency and relative frequency questions about the data collected.

I have created 6 word problems using systems of equations problems. It was really important to me for my students to label their variables and write out the equations before they just start solving, so I have separate areas for that work. Hope this helps you in your classroom!
