In this project, students crosscut the subjects of Language Arts, Science, and Art as they write and illustrate their own story of how they discovered the center of the Earth.

In this lab, students will change the height of a ramp to affect the speed of a marble. Students observe that the higher the ramp, the faster the speed of the marble. Students may use this lab to review how to find speed, creating a line graph, and the scientific method. The lab ends with writing a concluding paragraph. A partial answer key is included.
