This is the spelling lists from benchmarks advance curriculum. It is organized by units and weeks. Two list per page to save paper and in black and white! Benchmark is new curriculum for CA. If any change are made to the lists, let me know and I will make changes. Please email if you notice any errors as well! I have lower case in my store as well! ENjOy!

This is a template for STEAM, STEM or Makerspace activities. It has a spot for blueprints, materials, and a picture of their final creation.

WRiting with pronouns Direct Instruction format. I do, We do, They do. Objective: I can create silly sentences using prounouns in my writing. DOne with sentence strips and steps for independent practice and skill at the end.

Uses pokeballs and clipart to keep students engaged. Teaches them to understand the meaning of the equal sign and how to balance each equations. Uses steps at the end to build using ten frames on each side. Indp practice mats included.

How many more? Vocabulary used with graphing and word problems. Students must group together pictures to decide how many more of another object there is. Answer key included for one sample.

Post cards around the room and students can sort and identify as a service or good. Can also print for students to sort.

Uses place value pictures to represent a given number and then finding ten less or more. Gradual release and then mixed practice.

Review long vowel patterns. The top area is the least common pattern found in English and the bigger box is the most common pattern in English. Brainstorm words together or pull from spelling list on the right side. Dictation and other practice too. Teacher Guide that has the patterns and sample words for students to write along.
