MS Science & Engineering

Originally created for an 8th grade engineering elective at a STEM magnet. This worksheet supports with identifying independent and dependent variables, and the concept that scientists/engineers need to make one change at a time to their trials/designs in order to identify trends. Students work with a set of flight times for various paper airplane designs (including variables type of paper, plane length, and folding technique) and re-organize the data in order to see one change at a time.
