About the store
At the beginning of my teaching career, I taught 11th grade English for one year as I completed my masters in State College, Pennsylvania. Now, I work in Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia. For 6 years, I have taught 7th Grade English for ESOL students. I have taught as the teamed ESOL teacher, the General education teacher, Developing English Language Development, and Beginning English. In addition, I work as the Assistant to the Theater Director in our school's productions and I am the Yearbook director. I now work as a high school English teacher, teaching both honors and team taught special education!

Experience

Teaching style
My teaching style is fun and open! I am always trying new things and bringing new resources to class. Students are free to learn in a flexible environment that allows me to give targeted instruction to students who need it.
My own education history
I received my bachelor's in English from Penn State University in 2014, with a minor in Education Policy Studies. I received my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction for Secondary English Education from Penn State University in 2015.
