As an educator sometimes I just need a full lesson plan with objectives, notes, and activities/practices for those hard days. Here is a nice, fun, easy, and effective science lesson that can be implemented at any time of year. This lesson is for 4th 5th or 6th graders but can also be used in 7th and 8th grade. You know your kiddos best :)

This is a really quick assessment that could be used as an exit ticket or short quiz. The assessment has questions regarding qualitative and quantitative observations, differences between objective and subjective statements, and asks students to draw a conclusion based on observations and inferences.
