A fun way to learn about composite shapes! Students will combine shapes to make pictures. The 20 task cards include varying degrees of difficulty. Some task cards are focused on 2D shapes while others include pictures. Students create the picture using the shapes indicated on the card. This will work best with pattern block manipulatives but there are paper versions available as well. Just print, laminate and cut to use! In this math center students identify and graph 2D and 3D shapes. There are different versions of the dice-- with just shapes, pictures of everyday items that are each shape, and cute cartoon shapes.
