This is a good way to teach students about Neruda and one of her most natural and easy to understand poems. Students will hear Neruda reciting one of her famous odas, learn a vocabulary and also write their own poem following the steps I provide in one of the files. Recommendation: 1. Assign students to find facts about Neruda before to show pdf/pp 2. Have several Odas ready and distribute them around for them to read in pairs or group. 3. Ask students to write any literary figure they can find

This is a quiz following the pp. I introduced some questions with tener because the three verbs are always the first ones we teach in class and the students should be familiar with the three of them.

With this game students can practice the conjugation of regular verbs. I included the informal yo verbs. This follow the rules of the classic Battle ship game. It is a way to fill up the last few minutes of the class,, or give the students a break in a block schedule.
