Palmer's Stuff

In this activity, students will use the given recipe and find what one-quarter recipe is. This is great practice for multiplying a fraction and a whole number, as well as multiplying fractions.

With this activity, students will practice dividing fractions from fractions and dividing fractions from whole numbers. This is a great way for students to see that division word problems aren't so scary and to solve division problems in a conceptual way using the pictures of the cookies. This can be used as a pre-assessment, an introduction to dividing fractions, guided instruction, etc.

Because I am at a 1:1 school, I created this template for my students to complete. I took what Mr. Stadel has on his website and adapted it for my personal use.
