Teaching style

My teaching style is structured, explicit, and student-focused. I prioritise: - Clear explanations of complex concepts - Strong links to syllabus dot points and key terminology - Scaffolded learning that builds toward exam success Resources are designed to support a range of learners through: - Cornell notes - Guided workbooks - Exit tickets and formative checks - Exam-style short and extended response questions Each resource aims to reduce teacher workload while increasing student confidence and independence.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest teaching moments include seeing students: - Develop confidence in answering extended response questions - Improve exam performance through structured revision strategies - Engage more deeply with complex Health and Movement Science concepts. PDHPE Pathways was created to share the strategies and resources that have consistently supported strong learning outcomes in real classrooms.

My own education history

I have a strong academic background in PDHPE and related health sciences, supported by ongoing professional learning and curriculum development within NSW education. This background informs the design of each resource, ensuring content accuracy, appropriate academic depth, and alignment with senior secondary expectations.
