Supporting 6.RP.1 - Writing Ratios Students roll a six-sided die in order to select one of the three questions on each card. There are 9 cards, each with three questions (totaling 27 questions). Cards can be double sided (with answers on the back) for a self-checking activity. Alternately, the task can be single-sided and used as a formative performance task or quiz. This activity models decimal multiplication using a hundredths grid. Students will solve for the missing factor or product, or, will write and solve an equation based on the pictured model. There are 24 cards, 2 blank models, an answer sheet and answer key provided.
