These are interactive notebook page dividers for the new Florida Science curriculum. Use these to reflect on lessons learned, divide units of notes, and organize the notes for students to review and study for tests. Units 1-10 are now available. I have also updated this document with a link to copy and download the documents in google slides to be completed digitally during distance learning.
So much fun! I truly enjoyed making these worksheets with my sister.
The PDF includes four mad libs for your first week of school.
- Getting to Know You
- My Summer Vacation
- My Hobby
- A Silly Story
I plan to print and use these as morning work the first week. You can have students share their stories in small groups, or present to the entire class every day. This is a fun way for you to get to know your students. Be sure to also use this as a teachable moment. You'll quickly find
I know I can't keep track of the many usernames and passwords for each website I use at school. Use this worksheet for your students to keep track of their log-in information. This can be kept in a homework folder for easy access to websites from home and school. Enjoy!
This is a choice board of activities for the story Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark. I use this with my gifted/high achieving students to enrich their knowledge of the story in a fun way.
At my school we are required to turn into a phone log at the end of each month. I created this excel spreadsheet with monthly tabs on the bottom. At the beginning of each month I write each student's name. Then I document one time I spoke to the parent and briefly write what we discussed. This has been helpful for me to track my communication with parents.

These signs can be printed and held by each student so you can take their photograph on the first day of school. I plan to do a project where this photograph will be in a picture frame next to their "last day of school" photo. Cute end of the year project. The signs are made for the following grades: kinder first second third fourth fifth Enjoy this freebie! Please ask if you have another grade level or specific request.
Ask and you shall receive! I had a few requests for a last day of school sign to compliment the matching first day of school sign. Enjoy!

Experience
I am entering my 6th year as an elementary school teacher. I taught Pre-K for 2 years, 2nd grade for 1 year, and am about to begin my 5th year as a 4th grade teacher.
Teaching style
I am a very fun and bubbly teacher, yet I run a tight ship. I always start the beginning of my school year with high expectations. My principal calls my classroom a "tight ship." Even when I am absent, the students know the expectations and allow my classroom to flow like a well oiled machine. Classroom management and organization is my strength! I believe that it is important to give every student a job in the classroom. This empowers them to become involved in the classroom and accept it as their second home.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I was teacher of the year at my school for the 2013-2014 school year.
My own education history
I have been teaching fourth grade at my school for 4 years. Prior to this I taught 1 year of second grade at the same school. I also completed 2 years as a Pre K teacher.
