Powerful Powerpoints

This powerpoint review is versatile and can be used multiple different ways. You can use it with small groups as review, whole group with the kids answering on whiteboards or paper, or you can print out the slides and use them as task cards or cards for a board game. This powerpoint includes 10 rigorous multi-step multiplication problems. The word problems may also require addition and subtraction along with multiplication. It is aligned to common core and Texas TEKS.

This powerpoint presentation can be used as a whole group or small group review, converted to a nearpod for individual practice on an ipad, or printed out and used as task cards or game cards. Each slide contains a word problem requiring the students to identify the proper operation. Once they figure out the operation they can use that operation to solve. This is an excellent powerpoint for students just learning how to master problem solving!

The students are encouraged to use slow reading strategies to find the proper operation(s) to solve the problem.
