This set of five (5) chat mats will help students to talk about places in their town/city. Each mat has vocabulary and some structure (grammar) aligned with Core Practices. The set includes three pages of vocabulary, one page of events and how to talk about events in town, and one page with prepositions and talking about where people go to do different activities.

Students can complete this easy-to-use activity with Google Earth or Google Maps to identify continents in French and gain an understanding of the French-speaking world. There are reflection questions (in English) and a short paragraph. A great way to introduce students to la géographie francophone!
