About the store
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a licensed teacher with multiple endorsements in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Students with Disabilities (Grades 1–6). I have worked in education since 2015, beginning my career as an early education special education paraprofessional for a non-profit. Throughout my career, I have served as a self-contained special education teacher, case manager, teacher mentor, program advisor, and instructional leader, gaining extensive experience supporting students with high needs. Most recently, I have been working as a behavior specialist supporting multiple schools and providing targeted interventions for academic and behavioral growth. All of my work has focused on high-risk students, with the majority of my experience supporting low-income families, minority students, and children who have experienced multiple forms of trauma. My expertise combines evidence-based behavior analysis, differentiated instruction, and trauma-informed practices to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Additional biographical information

I believe every child deserves a high-quality education, regardless of ability, race, ethnicity, or income. I am passionate about equitable practices, data-driven decision making, and research-based interventions that help all students thrive. My work is guided by these three principles: Progress over perfection “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.” – Ignacio Estrada “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” – Frederick Douglass
