About the store
I've had the joy of teaching elementary school for 9 years. In that time, I've taught pre-k, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades. Regardless of age level, I've watched students flourish and learn, while receiving praise from parents for the activities I plan that allow for exploration, movement, and meaningful learning.

Friendship Feast-- Easy Thanksgiving Activity

This activity is easy AND cute for primary-grade children. Each student brings in an easy-to-mix item such as gummy bears or pretzel sticks. All the materials are added to large bowls, mixed, and served inside a waffle ice cream cone that mimics a cornucopia. Parent letter included. Please email me at graffkidlit at gmail dot com for the Microsoft Word document if you've purchased the pdf.

About the store

Experience

I've had the joy of teaching elementary school for 9 years. In that time, I've taught pre-k, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades. Regardless of age level, I've watched students flourish and learn, while receiving praise from parents for the activities I plan that allow for exploration, movement, and meaningful learning.

Teaching style

Students learn best when they're up and moving, creating, and building understanding through the experiential and constructivist models.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have served as team leader for my grade level, as well as served as a mentor for first-year teachers. It's been my pleasure to work as the cooperating teacher for multiple student teachers.
