Experience

For the over the past 10 years, I have taught Composition and Grammar at the middle school, high school, and college remedial level. Prior to teaching, I worked in Public Relations prior to teaching. In addition, I have an Ed.S in Teaching and Learning. Along with classroom teaching, helping my own children with their homework has challenged me to develop new methods of explaining grammar concepts.

Teaching style

Students are individuals, and I try to meet each one where they are in their educational journey. I spend a lot of time trying to find creative ways to explain grammar and writing concepts so that students will actually get and own these skills.
