Teaching style

I am a very active teacher who believes that teaching starts with the heart. Once our children trust and know us, and feel safe and secure in the learning environment, amazing learning will happen! Learning happens through connection and strong engagement in activities that meet student needs and interests. Students take the lead in their learning when rich opportunities for learning are provided and guided by us, the facilitators, so they can understand their world in a way that is meaningful to them.

My own education history

I have a Psychology degree as well as a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from the University of British Columbia.
