H.I.T.S. stands for Having Instruction Time Spiral! HITS are a weekly set of warm ups that are common core standards based! Each week utilizes the same 4 standards, daily. This insures students have a chance at mastery as oppose to new skills daily. The week uses a gradual release model towards mastery. Teacher models first day, guided practice the second, whole group the third, pre-quiz the fourth and quiz on Friday!
