Students complete a blank bingo card with 25 algebraic expressions listed at the top of their worksheet (this worksheet is a imbedded as a pdf on the final slide - just double click it). The teacher runs the power point presentation providing the students with a verbal expression that they then need to match with an algebraic expression on their bingo card.
Students sort systems of equations based on the number of solutions it would have (1, none or infinitely many). Students also need to write an equation so that the system would have one solution, no solution or infinitely many solutions with the other given equation.
Reflect, rotate, translate and dilate points to reveal a Lego head! Students plot given points, apply and plot the given transformation to reveal the image of a Lego head.
A great activity that could be used for a variety of activities: memory, matching, students find their match, around the room match (hang up problems or answers around the room and students have to find their matching answer/problem) or quiz, quiz trade.
