This activity is designed for students to practice converting rational numbers and making a circle graph while exploring the wealth distribution of various countries.

Objective: This activity is designed for students to practice using ratios in several different meaningful ways. They will use ratios to determine the best deal, find equivalent ratios, and convert units in severaldifferent contexts. They will convert between metric and Imperial units. Also, they will convert units of money from South Korean Won to United States Dollars.

This activity is designed for students to practice converting ratios into rational numbers from real data. Students will perform a survey to collect data of interest to them. That data is used to convert fractions into decimals, percents, degrees of a circle, and to find equivalent ratios.
