Experience
Student taught in 5th grade and taught in 6th grade for 4 years. Currently, I am teaching 7th grade.
Teaching style
As a young teacher I believe I have an older teaching style. I believe students need to be provided with a lot of structure to be successful. Modeling and guiding is of utmost importance to me over having students working together in groups or partners. In class, I model and guide students until I see that they have mastered a skill or concept fully before moving onto cooperative or independent practice.
