About the store
I have been teaching for eleven years. Ten out of those eleven years have been in 5th grade. I am a big fan of history, and have been a peer facilitator at Colonial Williamsburg, a participant in the George Washington Teacher's Institute, a participant in the Gilder Lehrman Summer Institute, and a participant in the National Endowment for the Humanities summer program. I also have my International Baccalaureate Award from California State University San Marcos.

5th Grade Geometry - I have, Who Has
A fun, interactive classroom activity that involves the characteristics of two-dimensional shapes. The details of each piece gives a clue that goes with the next word. A good way for the students to carefully analyze the characteristics of two-dimensional objects.

Valentine's Day Decimal Math Activity
This is a fun, team activity to work on adding and subtracting decimals. There is a price sheet for 12 different items, and 6 team task cards with scenarios on each. Because of intellectual property rights I deleted the pictures I have on my price sheets. They would be extremely easy to add back simply by doing a Google search for the specific items. The page is fine without the pictures, but we all know kiddos LOVE the pictures.
