I created a resource to help these students better understand how to read and finger notes in the D major scale. Many beginning orchestra pieces are based on the D major scale and this worksheet with help them become better acquainted with reading, fingering and playing these notes. Get students up and moving around the classroom with this Music Math Scavenger Hunt resource. Students can work on reading and adding various rhythm note and rest values in standard notation. This can be done individually or in cooperatively in groups. Just download, print, cut out and laminate if using over and over. Post cards around the room and student use the answer recording sheet to find the next card. Lots of fun!
