This book bingo is something I created with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade readers in mind. It can be used as an incentive, or it can be used to obtain reading grades if you assign book reports or reading response letters to each book. Each card includes titles, authors, reading levels, and genres to help students choose the books that best fit them. The great part is that it also gets the parents involved with a trip to the library!

I created this user friendly, group project to help meet several 5th grade Social Studies/Technology standards. You can walk your class into a computer lab with nothing but a notebook and a pencil, and they can take it from here. I created this WebQuest so it does the teaching for you. It directs the students to various sites, tells them what to print, and most importantly it addresses how to search safely on the internet. This took weeks of work on my part, and my 5th graders loved it! Enj

Students will cut their own memory cards containing fraction, decimal, percent equivalents. This is a great exercise for individuals or partners. I recommend using as a center or a review game. There is a worksheet for you to quickly check students' ability to match the fractions to their equivalent decimals and percents. Cards are color coded with various fonts to help struggling learners.
