So, one of the first concepts taught/reviewed in second grade math are odd and even numbers. I like to help them understand that even numbers always have a partner; where as with odd numbers, there's always one without a partner.

We noticed some of our kids were still struggling with adding money. So I made this engaging activity that I used as a morning warm up but you can also use it as a a center or activity.
All you need are baggies of coins for partners :).
