Students learn human blood types from the bottom-up by discovering which types are save to give to which types of patients, and trying to discover patterns as they go. Eventually, they should be able to figure out what simple rule determines which types are safe. The second page is a short narrative of how to conduct the lesson from a possible Anticipatory Set all the way through Closure. The elements of Critical Thinking and puzzle-solving make this a fun and memorable lesson.
