Probability Math Song
This is a song about how to find probability and use it to predict to the tune of "Royals" by Lorde. I use it as a call and response when students get stuck and don't know what to do. I'll watch students mouthing the words on tests and quizzes to help them remember. I've also gotten public performances when I've run into students outside of school.

Experience
This is my third year teaching 4 levels of middle school math.
Teaching style
I love to find creative ways to teach new math concepts. Singing has been a favorite of my students. I work at a PK-8 school and students cannot wait to come to class and sing.
Awards & shining teacher moments
My best teaching moments have been related to songs. Students who have gone on to high school e-mail me to get copies of the songs because they love singing them and get a lot of information from them.
Recently I ran into students having a birthday party at a bowling alley. They stood in one of the lanes and sang, very loud and proud, a math song we had been working on in class. It was a fantastic feeling to see them doing math during a party. It's what I love to see and hear.
