These are assorted facts and explanations in PowerPoint related to the holidays. I have added extra video links for those who need to fill more time with chemistry and the holidays. These can be used or left out to fit your personal time frame better. This PowerPoint is helpful for more than one class. It is fun and very visual. Because it is fun and more holiday related, you can use it for other subjects too.

I have been teaching for many years and have found that if the students have a stronger understanding of the vocabulary they comprehend the lessons better and do better on the testing. Specifically these are the notes that go with the Glencoe Life Science textbook . The answers drop, spin and appear one at a time as the teacher goes over the information. I use these as overviews to get the student's heads on the subject.
