Experience

I've been in the classroom for over 25 years and have spent the majority of that time teaching science to students from 2nd to 8th grade. Currently teaching middle school science and loving it!

I teach project- and inquiry-based science, and strive to make things as hands-on as possible for my students.

My middle school students have won or placed in a nationwide science competition 5 years in a row, and counting!

I have an undergraduate degree in biology, and a multiple subject teaching credential with a specialization in science.

I love animals and being outdoors in nature. Caffeine is a must.
