This is a foods project for an advanced Spanish class that combines cultural foods and Spanish vocabulary and grammar. Student will be assigned a Spanish speaking country/region for which they need to research foods that are typical to the area. They will then need to create a menu for a restaurant that includes photos, prices and descriptions in Spanish of the local food items they will serve.

In this project, advanced Spanish students will write a newspaper article, in Spanish, on one of seven topics related to Peru and the Incas as if the newspaper were being published in the 1500s. The second part of the project gives the students a choice between writing an obituary, a "Dear Inti" advice letter or creating a 4 frame cartoon.
